I've come a long way in life. I'm finally starting projects and actually finishing them. I think doing these posts really puts a stick behind me, which I'm ok with. You can't talk about this sweet project you've started and then never finish. It's like reading a book and never getting to the ending. Do they live happily ever after or what?!
Now, I am not a professional spray painter by any means, but I did manage to do a consistent job on the paint. Consistently bad, that is. It looks like that's how it's going to be. I avoided the spray paint drips by applying WAY too thick of a coat. The key is to do this everywhere.
This lamp will continue to live happily with its updated coat of crackled paint. Maybe on the second lamp, I will do a better job. If at first you don't succeed, try again. That's how you learn! At least from a distance it looks nice. Truth be told, I kind of dig the texture!
Happy Trial and Error!
