It has been far too long since I've posted, but today is not a fun update on what's been going on. I am at a loss for words. There was a terrible accident over the weekend. There is nothing I can say to make this situation even remotely bearable. A loss of a small life is beyond understanding. I don't know the answer why. And I probably never will. I do know God is now holding a sweet, sweet child in heaven. Our hearts are so completely broken for her family. I feel so honoured to have had the opportunity to know her, care for her and love her. She was not on this earth long enough, but she is so incredibly loved. Please keep this family in your prayers. If you could donate to the family, we have set up a YouCaring account to help this family out through this heart breaking time. The Story. Our dear friends, Kaz and Kayo lost their beautiful 15 month old daughter, Uta in a tragic accident. In her short time on this earth, she touched so many lives with love and joy; a legacy that will live on. Our hearts break for this family at the loss of such a precious life- a life that was so full of happiness and love, and gone too soon. While there are no words or actions we can do to make the situation even remotely bearable, we would like to help them financially, so they have one less stress in this terrible time. Our amazing community of Revelstoke has been incredibly supportive in this heart breaking situation already, with kind words, prayers, offers of help, and respect. Let's join together as friends and family, and show this incredible family our love. They have touched so many of our lives in many ways; let’s offer them all the support we can. Financially supporting them is one of the most practical ways we can help them right now. Funds raised will go toward funeral costs, living expenses, time away from their jobs, and future financial plans. Please let them be able to focus on the value of the funeral process, however they chose to proceed, but not the costs. This is something no parent can ever plan for; any help in this grieving process will be truly appreciated. With love, Friends of Kaz & Kayo. Please help support Kaz and Kayo.
